Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provided exactly what we signed up for with small but cozy rooms facing the reception. It was a bit cold the first night, but overall worth the price. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, although the check-in process took a bit long. The location in Amsterdam was superb with everything we needed close by, but be aware that it closes at 10 every day for those looking to smoke. The dining options were healthy and plentiful, great value for the price.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were quite small and not ideal, especially during the hot summer days. However, the service provided by the staff was exceptional, making up for the room experience somewhat. The location was convenient but had its drawbacks, and the dining options were surprisingly good. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some positives and some negatives.
The hotel offers brilliant value for money with great room quality, friendly service, and an excellent location for exploring the city. The dining experience is fantastic, and the facilities are top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were a bit noisy due to their proximity to the reception and bar, they were small but functional with a hospital room feel. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with getting around the area. The location was convenient, close to everything I wanted to visit but still peaceful. The dining experience offered a good variety of choices, though some improvements could be made. Facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Amsterdam with easy access to major attractions. The rooms were decent but suffered from noise disturbances throughout the night due to other guests. The service was friendly and accommodating, making our stay pleasant overall.
I found the hotel to be quite a mixed bag. On one hand, the room was warm and smelly which made me sick after just one night. The lack of basic commodities other than sheets and towels was disappointing. However, the cleanliness exceeded my expectations given the price and location. The absence of ladders in the room seemed like a simple oversight that could have been easily fixed.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. However, the rooms can be hot making sleep challenging. The location is fantastic with easy access to all main attractions.
The hostel has some positive aspects like an excellent service, but the rooms were extremely disappointing with a foul smell and lack of ventilation. The location was good for sightseeing, but safety concerns arose late at night. The dining experience was average, and the price was reasonable overall.
The hotel offers a reasonable stay with some drawbacks. The rooms, though basic, were nice but lacked proper ventilation, leading to discomfort during hot weather. Noise from neighboring rooms and outside impacted the quality of sleep. The service was better than expected, with helpful staff providing recommendations. The central location was ideal for exploring the city, but the dining options were weak. Overall, a budget-friendly choice with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers clean and comfy rooms at a good price, with very friendly staff. The dining options are varied but consider eating out for a better experience. The location is convenient, with most attractions within walking distance, and the facilities are well-maintained.
The hostel's location is perfect for connecting with fellow travelers and exploring the city center, but the cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, was a major issue. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even offering to print our tickets for free, which was a nice touch. The dining options were limited, and the atmosphere in the eating area was lacking. The hostel's facilities were basic, but the communal areas provided a good space to socialize.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great, close to main attractions and with a bar and spacious indoor and outdoor area. However, the room facing the street led to noise disturbances, and we had to pay extra for locker keys, which was disappointing.
The hotel rooms were not at all clean, especially the bathroom, creating a messy situation. On the contrary, the on-suite shower room was clean and tidy. While the rooms were basic, they offered comfort and cleanliness. Despite that, my stay in one room was absolutely one of the worst I've had in my life.
I found the hotel's location quite convenient, on the second bunk near the Rijksmuseum and pretty streets with great bars and restaurants. The rooms have a good configuration, but it was uncomfortable as it was only possible to open the window a few centimeters, making air exchange impossible. I must say that being above the entrance meant lots of noise coming from the street, which was a downside for me.
My stay at the hostel was overall positive with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location close to main attractions. However, the lack of windows and air conditioning in the 8-bed dorm room made the stay challenging due to a constant bad smell.
